We asked a simple question: Is it possible to engineer a putter with the stability of zero torque while retaining the feel and feedback of a premium traditional face balanced putter?

 

Our answer: Hyper Balanced VLT™ Technology.

The RP1 Pro was engineered around the optimal balance point between torque and Moment of Inertia—not by amplifying one or eliminating the other.

Newton's Second Law of Rotation describes this relationship mathematically:

τ = Iα

Where:

α = Angular Acceleration (rad/s²)
τ = Torque (N·m)
I = Moment of Inertia (kg·m²)

Rearranging the equation to solve for angular acceleration reveals the engineering challenge:

α = τ / I

​​Why angular acceleration matters:

Angular acceleration determines how quickly the putter face begins to rotate when torque is applied during the stroke. Controlling that response is fundamental to consistent face delivery.

Torque relative to MOI: too much torque results in excessive face rotation, and too little torque dramatically reduces the feel and feedback that golfers rely on to develop a predictable, repeatable stroke.

 

This is why isolating and engineering the optimal balance point between torque and Moment of Inertia is the foundation of our proprietary Hyper Balanced VLT™ Technology.

Find your ideal lie angle based on your stroke style:

  • 70° (standard weight) 70 degree lie angle is recommended for golfers who use an arc putting stroke.

  • 75° (standard weight) 75 degree lie angle is recommended for golfers who use a straight putting stroke.

  • 79.5° (available in standard weight and 500+ gram version for long putter setups) the 79.5 degree lie  angle standard weight version is recommended for very tall golfers (6'6" plus), the 500+ gram version  is recommended for specialty setups such as broomstick, arm lock, or wrist lock.

Find your ideal putter length based on your height:

  • Under 5'0": 31 to 32 inches

  • 5'0" to 5'4": 32 to 33 inches

  • 5'4" to 5'8": 33 to 34 inches

  • 5'8" to 6'0": 34 to 35 inches

  • 6'0" to 6'6": 35 to 36 inches

  • 6'6"+: 36 inches (if you are over 6'6", we also recommend that you use a 75 degree if you use an arc putting stroke or a 79.5 degree if you use a straight putting stroke)
